A good news story for preschools!

Early Childhood Australia , NSW Branch was delighted to read Minister for Education, Adrian Piccoli’s, announcement that work was continuing on a $5.6 million capital works program which will create an additional 362 preschool places in NSW.

Mr Piccoli said the funding has enabled the construction of three new preschools and the extension of 10 preschools to provide additional places.

New centres are being built at Woy Woy South, Orange and Alstonville. Existing services will be extended at Bundanoon, Dubbo, West Dubbo, Wingham, Finley, Old Bar, Gulgong, Bellbird, Oberon and Wollongbar.

Congratulations to the many people who have lobbied hard for these changes to come about. Great work!
